CFTC Files Charge Against Mango Markets Attacker Avraham Eisenberg

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has filed a lawsuit against Mango Markets attacker Avraham Eisenberg for allegedly manipulating the decentralized exchange market. The CFTC’s new lawsuit states that it was “a manipulative and deceptive scheme to artificially inflate trading prices offered by Mango Markets.” Trading in at least some cryptocurrencies, even on decentralized exchanges, the CFTC said, It is also part of its role as a regulator.
