Ethereum scaling solution Scroll announced the launch of the zkEVM mainnet. The next milestone is to build a decentralized proof network and a decentralized sequencer.
Scroll launched its mainnet after more than a year of testing, completing over 55 million transactions on the Alpha and Beta testnets, and finalizing nearly 1 million batches of transactions on L1. The latest Beta test network on Sepolia linked more than 900,000 wallet addresses and processed more than 6 million transactions in two months.
Sandy Peng, co-founder of Scroll, said: "In our foreseeable future, the vast majority of value transfers will be carried out on Ethereum's L2. The continuously improved user and developer experience will promote large-scale application and popularization. Blockchain. We are committed to enabling developers to easily build blockchain applications that anchor real-world applications in Web3, thereby attracting a large number of new users and driving the community forward."
