SBI Digital Markets, Subsidiary of Japanese Financial Services Giant SBI Holdings Receives Singapore Capital Markets Services License

SBI Digital Markets, a subsidiary of the digital assets arm of Japanese financial services giant SBI Holdings, has been granted a capital markets services license by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to provide securities and futures trading services in Singapore. SBI Digital Markets plans to launch an institutional-grade digital asset securities platform to help traditional financial service operators capture the growth opportunities presented by the emergence of digital assets. SBI Digital Markets was established in 2020 to become a crypto service provider offering a range of services including issuance and custody of virtual assets.
