Fidelity executive: Bitcoin is 'index gold'

Fidelity Global Macro Director Jurrien Timmer tweeted to express his views on the recent market and believed that Bitcoin is the “index gold” of the digital age, saying: “Historically, when inflation is high and real interest rates are negative, And/or structural regimes where money supply growth is excessive, gold tends to shine and gain market share relative to GDP. This potential exists for Bitcoin as well.”
