Former Turkish Central Bank Governor Murat Uysal Joins CoinTR Board of Directors

According to official news, former Turkish Central Bank Governor Murat Uysal officially joined the board of directors of CoinTR and is responsible for compliance and global development. Murat Uysal served as deputy governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey in 2016 and as governor of the central bank in 2019. During his tenure, he made outstanding contributions to Turkey's monetary policy and financial stability. In a statement about joining CoinTR, Murat Uysal highlighted the innovative power and potential of combining blockchain technology with traditional finance. "We will work hard to build a secure, efficient, and leading digital financial infrastructure for Turkey to support Turkey's digital transformation." It is reported that four senior officials from the Turkish Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank of Turkey, and the Turkish Banking Regulatory Commission have joined CoinTR and held core positions. CoinTR previously received support for building Turkey's digital financial infrastructure plan in a meeting with the Chairman of the Investment Office of the Turkish Presidential Palace, and has now begun discussions with the two major state-owned banks on the implementation plan.
