Greek Stock Exchange Evaluates Deploying EBB Function on Sui Blockchain

According to Foresight News, the Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX) is evaluating the deployment of its Electronic Order Book Building (EBB) function on the Sui blockchain. The Athens Exchange Group, the company behind ATHEX, will collaborate with Mysten Labs, the development company of Sui, to develop the technology. Currently, the project is in the evaluation stage and will depend on its performance and whether ATHEX is willing to host crucial blockchain technology functions. The EBB is a financing feature of ATHEX that allows early-stage and mature companies to list transferable securities. Sui claims that it can host ATHEX securities as digital certificates minted on its platform.
