Cryptocurrency market financing totaled $1.02 billion in April

According to RootData data, the total financing of the crypto market in April reached US$1.02 billion, involving 161 financings, a slight decrease from 186 financings and a total investment of US$1.09 billion in March. This is the first time since October-November 2022 that the industry has had VC investment of more than US$1 billion for two consecutive months. The most notable financings in April include asset tokenization company Securitize, which raised US$47 million, led by BlackRock; and Layer1 blockchain Monad, backed by Paradigm and Coinbase Ventures, which raised US$225 million.
