Defrost Finance Denies Allegations Project Is an Exit Scam

According to a Cointelegraph report, in response to the allegations made by security companies such as Peckshield that "the Defrost Finance project is an exit scam, and its team did not conduct KYC", Defrost Finance responded by denying the allegations about the team Rug Pull. Defrost Finance said that while the administrator key breach may raise public suspicion, it does not amount to a Rug Pull. Defrost makes two key arguments to deny its involvement in the incident. First of all, if they are going to plan Rug Pull, they should choose when TVL was close to 200 million US dollars a few months ago. And its TVL had dropped to just $13.14 million on December 23, the day of the first attack. Second, Defrost argues that if they were an exit scam, they would have “run away” long ago, but instead of doing so, they returned the funds to their rightful owners.
