Llama 2, however, raises the bar with additional model weights and starting code for the pre-trained model and conversational fine-tuned versions.

Additionally, the model will be available on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Hugging Face, and other providers, ensuring widespread accessibility.

Amazon, acknowledging Llama 2's foundation models, highlights their availability in Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, suitable for various purposes, including text generation.

Analogous to ChatGPT, Llama 2 serves as a large language model and chatbot.

However, Llama 2's superior training parameters are expected to deliver more detailed and nuanced responses.

As the technology landscape evolves, Elon Musk's xAI and Apple are actively working on related AI technologies, hinting at the fierce competition in this domain.

While concerns persist about open-source models being misused for malicious purposes, Clegg emphasizes that the concerns surrounding AI risks may be exaggerated.

He believes that fears of AI becoming sentient are far from immediate reality, alleviating some anxieties.
