However, it is important to note that the testnet may be reset over the weekend to address some issues identified by the core developers. During the testnet upgrade, developers discovered several bugs related to the communication method of node retention period extensions. While the testnet is largely functioning as expected, the core developers are working to resolve the remaining issues. They aim to make minor adjustments to the mainnet hard fork block and plan to release an update on the hard fork details by October 4.
