Tether Reports Significant Increase In USDT Adoption

According to Odaily, Tether has disclosed a notable rise in the adoption rate of USDT. By the end of the third quarter of 2024, 330 million on-chain wallets and accounts, equivalent to the number of users, had received USDT. This figure is comparable to the population of the United States. This count does not include users who only utilize USDT on centralized platforms, which, according to partner data, number in the tens of millions. Furthermore, the growth in the number of Tether users continues to accelerate, with each quarter seeing more new users than the previous one. Over the past four quarters, the average growth rate has been 9%. The third quarter of 2024 saw a record high in new users, reaching 36.25 million.
