According to Foresight News, Safeheron's Chief Scientist Max has stated that Google's newly introduced quantum chip, Willow, currently does not pose a threat to classical cryptographic challenges and, consequently, does not endanger blockchain security. However, Max highlighted that within the next decade, quantum computing might approach a critical point where it could potentially threaten traditional cryptography. Safeheron is proactively collaborating with academic institutions to research quantum-resistant algorithms.
