An investor purchased put options for ETH with a strike price of $2,200, set to expire at the end of March, totaling 10,000 ETH. The premium paid for this transaction was $1.249 million. Analysts suggest that this order likely represents a reduction in position, indicating the closure of previously sold put options. It is anticipated that the investor might enter the spot market to buy ETH for building a new position.
