A recent case involving a former intern at the UK’s Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) has once again confirmed the persistent threat of data leaks, even within organizations entrusted with the most sensitive information. Hassan Arshad, the intern, pleaded guilty to smuggling top-secret data out of a protected computer. He transferred the information to his smartphone and then uploaded it to a hard drive connected to his personal computer.
