The Snapshot page shows that the decentralized options protocol Lyra community has launched a new LRFC proposal, proposing to use Aerodrome to introduce LYRA liquidity on Base. Voting is currently open as of March 28. The proposal states that Aerodrome will introduce AERO releases into the liquidity pool based on weekly veAERO (Vote Escrow AERO) votes. Lyra can use voter incentives to attract veAERO votes and AERO releases to build liquidity on Base in a capital efficient manner. in particular: Lyra will bridge LYRA to Base and create a Lyra /WETH pool on the Aerodrome; Lyra will deposit $2,000 worth of LYRA as weekly rewards for the Lyra/WETH pool; LYRA rewards will last for 16 weeks.
