US President Donald Trump said he will not pardon jailed FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, who is serving 25 years for fraud. Bankman-Fried’s appeal is still in progress, but Trump made clear his support for crypto does not extend to forgiving financial crimes.

Alameda Research has filed a lawsuit against Waves founder Aleksandr Ivanov, seeking to recover $90 million allegedly lost in fraudulent transactions involving the Waves token and Vires.Finance. The lawsuit claims Ivanov inflated the value of WAVES while siphoning funds from Vires, and later failed to cooperate in attempts to recover the assets.
