Web3 content platform StoryCo closes $6M seed round led by Collab + Currency and Patron

According to Insider reports, Web3 content platform StoryCo (formerly Story DAO) completed a $6 million seed round of financing led by Collab + Currency and Patron, Floodgate Ventures, Blockchange Ventures, Sfermion, Flamingo DAO and its angel investors Lloyd Braun, Sabrina Hahn, Packy McCormick, GMoney and other executives from talent agencies WME and UTA participated. StoryCo, previously known as Story DAO, uses a blockchain-based platform to connect creatives with consumers outside the traditional Hollywood ecosystem and allow audiences to collaborate on stories. The site eschews most Web3 jargon, and the NFT is called StoryPass, which gives holders access to the project’s treasury, which includes NFT sales, IP licensing revenue, and royalties.
