According to tech.eu reports, the Swiss Bitcoin platform Relai completed a $4.5 million financing, led by ego death capital, Timechain, Cabrit Capital, Lightning Ventures, Redalpine, Fulgur Ventures, etc. participated in the investment, and Andi Pitt, founding partner of ego death capital, will also join Relai Board of Directors. Relai plans to use the new funds to upgrade to the Bitcoin Lightning Network and launch a white-label product that will allow other fintech firms to offer fiat-to-bitcoin transactions. The Relai platform allows retail investors to buy and sell bitcoin without additional registration, verification, and no deposit restrictions. The platform also allows investors to fully control their funds through non-custodial bitcoin wallets. Previously, Relai closed at a price of 2.16 million euros. With an initial planned €1.5 million in funding, and since its first seed round in 2020, Relai has raised a total of $11.8 million in 5 rounds to date.
