Celsius Files Countersuit Against KeyFi Alleging KeyFi's Alleged Theft Of Celsius Assets

Crypto lending platform Celsius Network filed a countersuit against KeyFi and its CEO Jason Stone, accusing the defendants of stealing valuable property from Celsius and seeking damages, CoinDesk reported. Celsius said KeyFi and its CEO, Jason Stone, used the recently banned crypto mixer Tornado Cash to cover their tracks for stolen assets, which could be worth tens of millions of dollars. Celsius acquired a stake in KeyFi in 2020. KeyFi and Stone filed a lawsuit against Celsius in early July, alleging that the company manipulated the crypto market and lacked accounting controls to protect consumer deposits.
