Lawyers for FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) have reached an agreement with U.S. prosecutors on new bail conditions, according to a court filing Monday, CoinDesk reported. Among the conditions submitted to U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan for the Southern District of New York for approval, SBF will get a new cell phone that does not have Internet access and is limited to text messages and voice calls. SBF will also receive a new laptop with limited functionality and access to approved websites only. The conditions were first put forward earlier this month, following suspicions that SBF had tried to contact witnesses while on bail. SBF pleaded not guilty to wire fraud and money laundering charges and is due to go to trial in October.
