Animoca Brands Japan closes $45 million funding round

Animoca Brands Japan, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, completed a financing of US$45 million at a valuation of US$500 million. This round of financing was jointly invested by Bank of Mitsubishi UFJ and Animoca Brands, and the two parties each contributed US$22.5 million. This round of financing will be used to acquire intellectual property licenses, promote the adoption of Web3 technology by partners, and increase investment in the field of security.
