Odaily Planet Daily News According to data from Incogni's latest report, more than two-thirds of Google Chrome's artificial intelligence extensions have high-risk effects, and if they are compromised, they may cause "serious damage" to user network security.
The report analyzed 70 AI Chrome extensions in 7 different categories, with 10 writing extensions falling into the high-risk category. Forty-eight of the 70 extensions would fall into the high-risk impact category if they were stranded, but 60% of extensions were at low risk of a security breach in the first place.
Darius Belejevas, head of Incognito, said that while the extensions offer "undeniable convenience," users should make privacy and security protection a top priority. (Cointelegraph)
