Cardano development team Input Output has open-sourced Mithril, a PoS-based data synchronization solution designed to improve the speed and efficiency of data synchronization between nodes by leveraging the existing network to provide certified snapshots of all or part of the blockchain state . Mithril will run on the Cardano main network. Participants will jointly sign the current blockchain state, and the contribution ratio is proportional to the pledge amount. After that, all signatures will be aggregated into multiple signatures, but when the total pledge amount of the signers reaches the threshold will be considered effective.
