This should probably be integrated into the ERC-4337 ecosystem, although changes to ERC-4337 may be required; L2s should be optimized to minimize the latency of reading L1 state (or at least the state root) from inside L2; On top of that, it is also possible to put the wallet on a system with a lower level connection to Ethereum (L3, or even a separate chain that only agrees to contain the Ethereum state root and reorganization or hard fork in the event of an Ethereum reorganization or hard fork). The keystore should be on L1 or high-security ZK-rollup L2; we should probably move to a privacy-preserving solution, and at least make sure that whatever we propose is forward-compatible with privacy-preserving.
