Abnormal outflows of tokens occurred in multiple bridge contracts of Multichain, among which Fantom bridge had an outflow of 130 million US dollars of assets

According to CoinDesk, multiple bridge contracts operated by Multichain have experienced a large number of abnormal outflows of various tokens, including almost all assets held by Multichain’s Fantom Bridge in wBTC, USDC, USDT and a few altcoins. The total value exceeds 130 million US dollars. Michael Kong, chief executive of the Fantom Foundation, said an investigation is ongoing. In addition, Multichain’s Moonriver bridge contract had an outflow of 6.8 million tokens, and almost all wBTC, USDT, USDC, and DAI flowed to addresses starting with 0x48BeAD. A Dogecoin bridge address identified as Mulitchain has seen an outflow of more than 600,000 USDC. Assets transferred from the Multichain Fantom bridge include DAI, LINK and USDT, and at least USD 20 million of altcoins were transferred to addresses starting with 0x9d57. Other transferred assets included 1,023 wBTC (approximately USD 30.9 million), 7,214 wETH (approx. 13.6 million USD) and 57 million USDC.
