Nexus Mutual Swaps Over 14,000 ETH in Its Safeguard Module for Rocket Pool rETH via CoW Swap

According to The Block, DeFi insurance platform Nexus Mutual DAO exchanged 14,390 ETH (equivalent to $27.3 million) in its “safe insurance module” for Rocket Pool rETH liquid pledge tokens through the CoW Swap DEX aggregator as part of Nexus Mutual’s broader diversification strategy. On-chain data shows that Nexus Mutual executed the purchase of rETH in two transactions on CoW Swap: one for 14,140 ETH and the other for 250 ETH. An investment committee within the Nexus Mutual DAO previously recommended reallocating funds in its insurance module (which provides insurance against security incidents such as hacks) to liquid collateralized Ethereum. Afterwards, Nexus Mutual decided to invest in rETH.
