Canadian cryptocurrency exchange Coinberry has filed a lawsuit seeking compensation from 50 users for 120 bitcoins it lost, the Financial Post reported. Coinberry stated that an error occurred in its software upgrade in 2020, which caused the funds to be displayed in the account in advance when the user initiated the transfer and could be used to actually purchase cryptocurrencies. Some users took advantage of this vulnerability to purchase a total of 120 bitcoins.
