Everscale: The stolen tokens are ERC20 EVER rather than native EVER, and the network and DApp have not been attacked.

The blockchain network Everscale issued a document on the X platform stating that it has determined that the theft of EVER tokens was due to fraudulent activities and that the network and any DApp have not been hacked. The stolen token was ERC20 EVER, not native EVER. Exchanges that have partnered with Everscale have now suspended Wrapped EVER (WEVER) deposits and withdrawals. The team is currently working hard to protect native EVER, which is safe on Octus Bridge; at the same time, the team is conducting a comprehensive investigation and will announce details soon. According to yesterday’s news, Everscale stated that a large number of EVER tokens were stolen and that it is working closely with the exchanges that list EVER to prevent further outflow of tokens. Everscale temporarily disconnected the Octus Bridge.
