Web3 software technology company Aave Companies launched the Web3 social protocol Lens V2 version on the Polygon mainnet during the Devconnect event in Istanbul. This updated version brings enhanced composability and other upgrades to enable developers to build new social experiences and monetization methods. The team said that all applications and Lens V1 profiles have been migrated to V2, including 11 million social connections and more than 34 million social interactions.
Lens V2, still in beta, launched on the Polygon mainnet, introducing a set of independent social primitives native to Web3, giving builders new tools to incorporate Web3-driven functionality into existing applications. (The Block)
According to previous news on November 3, Lens Protocol issued a document on the X platform announcing that V2 will be launched on the Ethereum main network, and the first phase of the migration has been completed.
