Bankless co-founder Ryan Sean Adams posted on the X platform that people are upset about BanklessDAO’s proposal to apply for ARB grants from Arbitrum, and confuse BanklessDAO and Bankless. But BanklessDAO is a completely independent entity from Bankless and is a true community DAO. Ryan, fellow co-founder David Hoffman, and Bankless have no financial interests from the DAO, have never sold BANK tokens, and have not participated in the DAO's governance voting.
Ryan and David allow the DAO and those who share the Bankless values to freely use the brand, but the pair realize that doing so may cause confusion and may require adjustments to the approach in the future.
In this regard, encryption KOL Udi Wertheimer said that the DAO can be renamed directly. Ryan joked: "Okay, now it is renamed Udi DAO."
Yesterday, BanklessDAO requested Arbitrum for a grant of 1.82 million ARB to carry out 12-month activities. The funds will help the organization guide users from awareness to expertise, further boosting adoption. The event will focus on three core audiences: developers, DeFi enthusiasts and gamers.
