Slow Mist: Angel Drainer, the initiator of the Ledger Connect Kit incident, uses smart contracts to manage malicious JS files to access domain names

The SlowMist security team conducted an in-depth analysis of the Ledger Connect Kit supply chain attack and found that the attack was launched by the well-known Angel Drainer phishing group, and that the Angel Drainer phishing group used smart contracts to manage the access domain names of malicious JS files. In order to prevent Web3 users from asset losses caused by phishing attacks as much as possible, the SlowMist security team and the Scam Sniffer team identified thousands of phishing websites through a series of characteristics of the Angel Drainer phishing group, and fed these phishing websites back to eth- phishing-detect hopes to maintain the ecological security of the Web3 industry through the power of the community.
