Kyrgyzstan plans to tax crypto mining industry over $1 million within this year

The Kyrgyz government plans to tax the cryptocurrency mining industry by more than $1 million this year (2023). The country’s Ministry of Finance reported that $900,000 has been taxed in the first 11 months of 2023, with crypto miners paying more than $132,000 to the government in August. It is reported that local cryptocurrency mining activities began to actively grow in the second quarter of this year. February's tax bill was nearly $8,300, and April's tax bill climbed quickly.
