According to official news, HashKey Capital and FTSE Russell (a brand of the London Stock Exchange Group) jointly released a series of digital asset indexes to facilitate investors to understand the data changes in the digital asset market in real time. The three indices are:
- FTSE Russell Digital Asset 20 Index: tracks the top 20 crypto assets by market capitalization. Currently, this index accurately reflects at least 90% of the overall performance of the digital asset market, providing traders with a more diversified reference benchmark for the digital asset market.
- FTSE Russell Digital Asset Infrastructure Index: tracks the digital assets that make up the infrastructure layer of the crypto ecosystem. Its targets typically include smart contract platforms, protocol interoperability, and distributed computing and storage.
- FTSE Russell Digital Asset Application Index: tracks application layer digital assets in the digital asset ecosystem. Such assets are often associated with staking tools and DeFi (decentralized finance).
Starting from January 24, these indices will be available for query on the official website of FTSE Russell, and plans to make them available through mainstream data service platforms such as Bloomberg, Factset, London Stock Exchange Data and Analysis, Morningstar and S&P Capital IQ in the future. Open to the public.
