Vitalik Buterin: Tend to use EIP to increase calldata costs

Ethereum Foundation data researcher Toni Wahrstatter wrote an article analyzing "whether the block gas limit of Ethereum should be increased." Vitalik Buterin responded on the X platform and pointed out: "I tend to use EIP to increase the calldata cost, maybe return to the original 68 per non-zero byte, now we have EIP-4844 blobs for data-intensive use cases, which will address worst-case data issues and add more space for increasing gas limits and blob count targets."
