According to The Block, government agencies led by California House Financial Services Committee Chairman Maxine Waters are writing to some cryptocurrency companies to obtain information on diversifying the industry, asking such companies to provide lawmakers with “how and whether the industry is working hard to provide creating a fairer environment for everyone”. Companies addressed by the legislature include Aave, Andreessen Horowitz, Binance.US, Circle, Coinbase, Crypto.com, Digital Currency Group, FTX, Gemini, Haun Ventures, Kraken, OpenSea, PancakeSwap, Paradigm, Paxos, Ripple, Sequoia Capital , Stellar Development Foundation, Tether, and UniSwap.
