Solana Hunger Games Launches with Over 100,000 Followers and 2 Million Page Views

According to Decrypt, a new game studio called GG.zip launched early access for "Solana Hunger Games" on Monday, quickly gaining over 100,000 followers on Crypto Twitter and causing their site to crash after receiving over 2 million page views in the first 24 hours. The mobile phone-based Augmented Reality game, modeled on the popular Hunger Games series, rewards players who hunt down treasure. GG.zip is backed by the crypto VC arm of Delphi Digital and influencers such as Cozomo Medici, Gmoney, and Cooper Turley. The game, set to launch in the spring, plans to combine Augmented Reality (AR) with crypto to create what GG.zip calls "ARC" (Augmented Reality Crypto). Players can choose to play as a "Hunter" or speculate on the game's outcome as a "Sponsor." Hunters explore the "Host city" searching for AR GBoxes filled with "G," a token claimable by Solana users based on their activity on the Solana blockchain. The token is not yet live and has not been distributed to any wallets. Players can earn G through a referral program, receiving a percentage of the G claimed by their invitees and their invitees' invitees. In the game, Hunters race to collect as much G as possible, with their stats tracked on a leaderboard displayed on the GG website. The user who finds and acquires the most G wins.
