Harmony published a document on the X platform announcing that it has solved the network outage block caused by node verification issues. It is reported that the Hong Kong problem originated from the Harmony mainnet node getting stuck on February 10, causing the network to stagnate. After investigation, it was discovered that snapDB was missing chunk state data required for chunk validation, causing cross-link validation to fail and trapping the network in a cycle of view changes. After the team implemented the fix, network functionality was restored without affecting integrity. They updated cross-link management logic and closely monitored the network with total recovery times beyond the initial 26-hour outage to ensure network stability. In the future, Harmony will optimize database management, improve consensus mechanisms, and improve communication channels.
