The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has listed potential vulnerabilities in the iOS version of Binance Trust Wallet. It is reported that NIST is a US agency that develops best practices and standards for technology and network security.
The vulnerability was added on February 8 to the CVE database, which lists critical issues that could have or have caused significant damage or loss.
NIST is investigating it to determine the real-world severity of the vulnerability. According to the database entry, the vulnerability has already been exploited in the wild. In July 2023, it allowed attackers to guess safewords and steal funds from digital wallets. (CoinDesk)
