The PlayDapp team announced plans to launch mainnet via the Avalanche subnet on April 11 to expand its Web3 business. PlayDapp will no longer support existing public chains and instead operate an independent chain with self-verification nodes as the main network. The launch of the mainnet marks the official launch of its decentralized governance system and NFT interoperability services. Users will be able to participate in staking, voting and NFT transactions on the mainnet, making it a decentralized and community-driven platform.
PDA tokens issued as ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum chain will be exchanged for PlayDapp mainnet tokens (PDA) as native tokens via the bridge. This will facilitate various services and be used for transaction fee processing on the mainnet. Users will no longer need to pay Ethereum or Polygon gas fees for PlayDapp services. Instead, PDA will function as the native token in PlayDapp tournaments, marketplaces, and P2E gaming services.
The PlayDapp mainnet will integrate the DAO voting system. PDA token holders will have the opportunity to directly participate in key decisions regarding mainnet service operations and project development. Additionally, PlayDapp plans to launch a DAO game as part of the DAO activation. (Tech Startups)
