According to Foresight News, Avi Eisenberg, the attacker of Mango Markets, may testify in a criminal trial for commodity fraud and manipulation, as per his defense team. However, a final decision on this matter has not yet been made. If Eisenberg is found guilty on all three charges related to his trading on Mango Markets in October 2022, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
Previously, Dafydd Durairaj, the founder of Mango Markets, had negotiated with Eisenberg. Durairaj proposed that if Eisenberg returned $67 million to the platform, he would not press charges against him. The outcome of this negotiation is yet to be confirmed.
