Drift Launches Genesis Airdrop to Reward Solana DEX Users

On April 16, the foundation of Drift, a decentralized derivatives exchange on Solana, announced the launch of the governance token DRIFT, continuing to move towards decentralization and delegating power to its loyal users - 10% of DRIFT tokens (100 million) will be distributed to 180,000 users on the Drift platform who meet the active requirements. The maximum supply of DRIFT is 1 billion, with an initial release of about 100 million, of which 53% is used for the community and ecosystem, 25% for protocol development, and 22% for strategic participants. In addition to tokens, Drift will move in the direction of a multi-branch DAO and will be responsible for shaping the future of the Drift ecosystem to ensure that it meets changing needs.
