U.S. SEC Commissioner: Tokenization can provide a higher level of security and transparency for transactions

According to FOX Business reporter Eleanor Terrett, SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda touted the merits of tokenization during a speech at the Global Securities Regulators Conference, saying: “Tokenization can provide a higher level of security, transparency and immutability for transactions, and can also eliminate the need for most intermediaries, thereby simplifying the process and reducing transaction costs.”
