According to the official announcement, OKX will launch the 30-day verification-free function for withdrawal address books at 15:00 (UTC+8) on July 4, 2024. When verifying the address in the address book, users can set the verification validity period to 30 days or permanently.
If the user sets the verification validity period to 30 days, they need to withdraw money within 30 days to maintain the verification status of the address. If no withdrawals are made within 30 days, the verification will expire, and future withdrawals to the address will require security verification. If the user withdraws money within 30 days, the verification validity period will be extended by 30 days. For example, if the user withdraws money at 15:00 (UTC+8) on July 4, 2024, the verification validity period will be extended to 15:00 (UTC+8) on August 3, 2024.
What impact does this have on existing verification-free addresses? Starting from 15:00 on July 4, 2024 (UTC+8), the verification status of the existing verification-free addresses in the OOBC address book will expire after 30 days. If the user wants to save the address as a permanent verification-free address, there are two methods: wait for the verification to expire after 30 days, and then permanently verify the address again. Delete the address and add it again as a permanent verification-free address.
