After the annual hackathon, Celestia, Archway, and Nibiru, three Cosmos L1s, simultaneously launched the project MACI voting activities on Dora Vota in early July. Among them, Celestia and Archway included all TIA/ARCH staking users in the voter whitelist and issued voting rights to a total of more than 500,000 stakers; Nibiru distributed voting rights to judges for internal MACI on-chain voting. The results of the above MACI voting activities will determine the final award selection results of the annual hackathon of these three ecosystems.
Dora Vota is the MACI governance protocol developed by the Dora Factory team. MACI stands for Minimal Anti-Collusion Infrastructure, which implements an anti-collusion on-chain privacy voting mechanism based on zk-SNARK. Dora Vota provides users with MACI voting deployment tools and voting front-ends, allowing community organizations of any type and size to complete MACI voting contract deployment without code, and conduct more fair and private on-chain governance activities.
