Ava Labs founder: I agree with Vitalik that political voting should not depend on candidates’ cryptocurrency stance

In response to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin's latest remarks "oppose political voting based on support for cryptocurrency", Ava Labs founder and CEO Emin Gün Sirer commented on X: "I agree with Vitalik: our choices must be based on principled reasons related to the candidates' personal freedom positions. In order to win elections, superficial support positions (for cryptocurrencies, etc.) continue to change, but politicians will sooner or later return to their true inner selves. However, principles have more dimensions besides personal freedom and authoritarianism." Earlier today, the founder of Cardano refuted Vitalik's remarks, saying that when cryptocurrency cannot stay away from politics, it is time to vote for the party that supports it more.
