68% of Democratic delegates support Kamala Harris

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has reached the threshold required for the Democratic presidential nomination. According to the Associated Press's unofficial survey of Democratic delegates, as of the time of this article's publication, Harris has received 2,668 delegate commitments. The results show that she has a chance to become the Democratic nominee to compete against Republican candidate Donald Trump. The delegates who initially supported Harris still need to formally vote in the coming weeks.
