Deutsche Bank: Most consumers prefer debit or credit cards to CBDC

Deutsche Bank surveyed 4,850 consumers in Europe, the UK and the US in March. The results show that cash will not disappear anytime soon. Most respondents said they would prefer to use debit or credit cards rather than CBDC. Only 16% of respondents believe that CBDC will become mainstream, 31% said they prefer to use cryptocurrencies managed by the central bank or government, and only 21% said they would choose to use private cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.
