A small number of Polymarket users say their Google login accounts were hacked

Some Polymarket users complained that their accounts logged in through Google were attacked and their USDC balances were stolen. The attacker used the "proxy" function to steal funds, but only a few Google logged-in users were affected. Users who used browser extension wallets such as MetaMask and Trustwallet were not affected. Users found that their balances were emptied after depositing funds, and Polymarket officials have launched an investigation. The total loss of users has now exceeded US$5,000.
