Dmitry Tokarev, CEO of crypto custody company Copper, plans to step down from the company's day-to-day operations and resign as CEO, two people familiar with the matter said.
The company is looking for a successor, and former British Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond is the company's chairman, one person familiar with the matter said. Tokarev helped found the company in 2018, and he remains a significant shareholder and will be actively involved in the company's business.
Last month, Copper founding partner and chief business officer Boris Bohrer-Bilowitzki left to become CEO of blockchain company Concordium. In addition, Mike Milner, global revenue director who has worked at the company for five years, also left to join Concordium. (CoinDesk)
