At the Chainlink 2024 Hong Kong SmartCon conference with the theme of "Integrating Blockchain and Traditional Finance", a number of traditional financial institutions that are actively exploring the deep integration of digital assets and on-chain finance expressed many insights at the SmartCon event. Among them, Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov said at the "Future of Asset Management" roundtable: "In fact, we can make some tokens run in a more programmatic way. For example, the main purpose of the secure minting link in the reserve proof is to provide transparent value, and this link can be embedded in the token operation mechanism to control its convertibility. When you do enough, you enter a world where the input data is enough to distinguish tokens and other data allows other ecosystems to adopt a certain token. Without this data, the system cannot use a certain token or it is not set up in this mode of operation. So, this is an improvement. The only thing that needs to be added is that we also need to audit and track this because we need to know what happened to the assets and when."
